“Just wanted to thank you for your quick response and shipping of your Chicago Brick Oven wood-burning oven. We completed our project for the Home and Garden Show and had an amazing response. Our company took the top prize with Best in Show! After the show, I moved the oven out to my parents’ acreage and we fed pizza to 40 people in under an hour. We love the product! It was easy to install and looks amazing. Here is a link where you can see me baking a pizza in your oven and how it looked in our Home and Garden Show exhibit.”

Lonnie from Kansas sent in this fantastic picture of his Thanksgiving turkey. The tasty-looking bird not only shows off the versatility of a wood burning brick oven from Chicago Brick Oven, but also the confidence one person had to cook the most important meal of the year in it!

Lonnie also demonstrated some clever innovation by heating up a cooking stone on the oven’s hearth and then using it as a Lazy Susan to rotate the bird while cooking.

The end result, Lonnie says, was “one delicious turkey.”

“We had our wood burning oven from Chicago Brick Oven installed over a month ago and it immediately became the central focus of our outdoor kitchen. We’ve used it for parties, weekday pizza nights and hosting family get-togethers. We’re still in the experimentation stage — trying different kinds of crusts, sauces, toppings and cooking methods for our pizzas — and our whole family is enjoying tasting the results!

We’ve used the oven for lots of pizzas, some fruit crisps for dessert and incredible ‘smores, as well. We strongly recommend a wood burning oven from Chicago Brick Oven and we can’t wait to fire it up each time.”
